By placing an order with Nuvana Beauty ("we," "us," "our"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all policies set out on this page. If you do not agree with any part of these policies, please do not place an order.
1. Shipping Policy
1.1 Processing & Dispatch
All orders are processed within two (2) to three (3) business days from the date of purchase. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays observed in the Republic of Ireland. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next available business day.
1.2 Estimated Delivery Timeframes
Standard shipping typically takes one (1) to two (2) weeks from the date of order placement. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary depending on the destination, customs processing, and the performance of third-party postal or courier services.
1.3 International Shipping
Nuvana Beauty ships internationally, including to the European Union, the United Kingdom, Iceland, and other countries where permitted by law. International customers are solely responsible for any import duties, taxes, customs fees, or other charges levied by their country of destination. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are the customer's obligation upon receipt.
1.4 Customs & Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, postal services, courier companies, adverse weather conditions, force majeure events, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We cannot guarantee specific delivery dates for any shipment.
1.5 Lost or Stolen Packages
Once a shipment's tracking information confirms delivery to the address provided by the customer, Nuvana Beauty is not liable for packages that are subsequently lost, stolen, or damaged. If you believe a package has been misdelivered, we recommend contacting the carrier directly. We are under no obligation to replace or refund orders that tracking records show as delivered.
1.6 Incorrect Shipping Information
It is the customer's sole responsibility to provide accurate and complete shipping information at the time of purchase. Nuvana Beauty is not liable for orders shipped to incorrect addresses due to customer error. Re-shipment of such orders, if possible, will be at the customer's expense.
2. Return & Refund Policy
2.1 Eligibility Window
Returns are accepted within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of confirmed delivery only. Requests made after this period will not be considered under any circumstances.
2.2 Condition Requirements
To be eligible for a return, the product must be:
- Completely unopened, unused, and untested;
- In its original sealed packaging with all seals, shrink wrap, and tamper-evident features fully intact;
- With all original tags, labels, and inserts included and undamaged.
Products that show any evidence of opening, use, partial use, tampering, or damage to packaging will be refused and returned to the customer at their expense.
2.3 Return Authorisation Requirement
No returns will be accepted without prior written authorisation. To initiate a return, the customer must email us at our designated customer service email address to request a Return Authorisation (RA) number before sending any product back. Your email must include your order number, the reason for the return, and photographic evidence of the product's condition. We will review your request and, if approved, issue an RA number with return instructions. Any package received without a valid RA number clearly marked on the outside of the parcel will be refused and returned to sender at the customer's cost.
2.4 Return Shipping
The customer is fully responsible for all return shipping costs. Nuvana Beauty does not provide prepaid return labels under any circumstances. The customer must use a tracked and insured shipping service at their own expense. We are not responsible for return shipments that are lost, damaged, or delayed in transit. Proof of postage does not constitute proof of delivery to us.
2.5 Restocking Fee & Shipping Costs
Approved refunds are subject to a fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount. Original shipping costs paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable and will not be included in any refund.
2.6 Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed within fourteen (14) to twenty-one (21) business days after we have received, inspected, and confirmed the returned item meets all eligibility requirements. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. We are not responsible for any delays imposed by your bank or payment provider in crediting the refund to your account.
2.7 Opened, Used, or Partially Used Products
No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be issued for any product that has been opened, used, partially used, or where the original seal has been broken. This policy is strictly enforced without exception, for hygiene and safety reasons.
2.8 No Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to obtain a different product, you must return the original item in accordance with this policy and place a separate new order.
2.9 Sale Items & Bundles
All products purchased at a discounted or sale price, and all bundled product sets, are final sale. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted for these items.
3. Product Disclaimer & Liability Waiver
Please read this section carefully before purchasing or using any Nuvana Beauty product.
3.1 Product Classification
Cyperus Rotundus Oil, and all other products sold by Nuvana Beauty, are cosmetic and topical botanical products intended for external use only. Our products are not medicines, drugs, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition. No statements made by Nuvana Beauty, whether on our website, social media, marketing materials, or packaging, have been evaluated or approved by the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) of Ireland, the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), or any other regulatory body.
3.2 No Guarantee of Results
Individual results vary significantly from person to person due to differences in skin type, hair type, genetics, frequency of application, and other biological and environmental factors. Nuvana Beauty makes no guarantees, warranties, or representations — express or implied — regarding the efficacy, performance, or results of any product within any specific timeframe or at all. Any testimonials, reviews, or before-and-after imagery displayed on our website or marketing channels represent individual experiences and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of similar outcomes.
3.3 Mandatory Patch Test
The customer is solely responsible for performing a patch test before applying any Nuvana Beauty product to a larger area of skin. We strongly recommend the following procedure:
- Apply a small amount of the product to the inner wrist or behind the ear.
- Cover the area lightly and leave undisturbed for a minimum of twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours.
- Monitor the area for any signs of irritation, redness, swelling, itching, burning, rash, or discomfort.
- If any adverse reaction occurs during the patch test period, do not use the product. Wash the area thoroughly with mild soap and water and consult a qualified medical professional if symptoms persist.
- Only proceed with broader application if no adverse reaction is observed after the full test period.
Failure to perform a patch test is done entirely at the customer's own risk.
3.4 Limitation of Liability for Adverse Reactions
Nuvana Beauty, its owners, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any allergic reactions, skin irritation, rashes, breakouts, redness, swelling, dermatitis, burns, scarring, discolouration, or any other adverse skin reaction or bodily harm of any kind arising from the use or misuse of our products. This includes, without limitation, reactions resulting from known or unknown allergies, sensitivities, or pre-existing skin conditions.
3.5 Ingredient Awareness & Assumption of Risk
By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and confirms that they have reviewed the full ingredient list for the product(s) ordered, as displayed on the product listing page, and that they accept all risk associated with the use of said product(s). If you have known allergies or sensitivities to any botanical, plant-derived, or cosmetic ingredient, it is your sole responsibility to verify the ingredient list before purchase and use.
3.6 Discontinuation & Medical Advice
If irritation or an adverse reaction occurs at any point during use, discontinue use immediately. Wash the affected area with mild soap and water and seek advice from a qualified dermatologist or medical professional. Nuvana Beauty is not responsible for any medical costs, treatment expenses, lost income, or consequential damages arising from product use.
3.7 Misuse & Improper Application
We are not responsible for any adverse outcomes resulting from:
- Misuse or over-application of the product;
- Application to broken, wounded, infected, sunburned, or otherwise compromised skin;
- Application to areas of the body not recommended in our usage instructions;
- Use contrary to, or in excess of, the instructions provided on our packaging or website;
- Use in combination with other products, treatments, or medications without consulting a medical professional;
- Ingestion or internal use of any kind. All Nuvana Beauty products are for external topical use only.
3.8 Assumption of Risk
By purchasing and using any Nuvana Beauty product, the customer expressly acknowledges and assumes all risk and liability associated with the purchase, handling, application, and use of the product. The customer agrees to hold Nuvana Beauty harmless from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from or related to product use.
4. Terms of Service
4.1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Nuvana Beauty website, browsing our product pages, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all policies contained on this page. If you do not agree, you must not use our website or purchase our products.
4.2 Modifications to Policies
Nuvana Beauty reserves the right to update, amend, or modify any policies, terms, or conditions on this page at any time and without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately upon publication. All content on the Nuvana Beauty website — including but not limited to brand names, logos, trademarks, product names, product descriptions, images, photographs, graphics, videos, marketing copy, website design, and any other proprietary materials — is the exclusive intellectual property of Nuvana Beauty or its licensors. No content may be reproduced, copied, distributed, modified, republished, displayed, or used in any manner without the prior written consent of Nuvana Beauty. Unauthorised use may result in legal action.
4.5 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of Nuvana Beauty arising from or in connection with any product purchase, use of our website, or any claim related thereto, shall not exceed the purchase price actually paid by the customer for the specific product giving rise to the claim. In no event shall Nuvana Beauty be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages of any kind.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
4.7 Order Accuracy
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability. In such cases, a full refund will be issued for the cancelled item(s).
